Whale Bones Carving

well I started carving whale bones yesterday! it has taken a while to
find materials, and at the end of the day, the blue styrofoam isn’t
working as well as some of the other dense (non bubbly) white styro I
found at a place called Urban Source, here in Vancouver. I’m on my way
thanks to Vicki at U Source!!! her store is a treasure trove.

I started with the most complex bone shape- the 1st vertebrae is fused and tilted at an angle–challenging, so after about 1.5 hours I gave myself a break and did 3 easier ones
